Hi, this is Roger Tinker, owner and general manager of all star pest control in Columbus, Georgia. I’m going to be talking about bedbug bites, bedbug bites or Ichi red bumps that are caused by the bite of a bedbug. bedbugs are small parasitic insects that feed on the blood of human and other animals. They are typically found in mattresses, bed frames, and other furniture. But they can also be found in other areas of the home, such as carpet, curtains and even clothing. Bed bugs are most active at night and they typically bite people when they’re sleeping. bedbug bites can appear anywhere on the body, but they’re most common on the arms, legs and knit. Another thing to make note of if there are two people sleeping in a bed and only one is getting bitten, it’s very good chance that the person that did not get bed is somebody that does not sleep soundly and moves around in the bed. And the person that got me it is the one that sleep real soundly and does not move because bedbugs wait an hour to for somebody to be stale before they bite them. bedbug bites are not usually serious, but they can be uncomfortable and itchy. In some people bedbug bites can cause an allergic reaction, which can lead to more severe symptoms such as hives, swelling, or difficulty breathing. And of course, if any of that happens, please seek medical attention. How to identify bedbug bites can be difficult to distinguish from the bites of other insects such as mosquitoes and fleas. However, here are a few things to look for. bedbug bites are often grouped together in a cluster online. bedbug bites may be raised above the skin and itchy. Bed bug bites may also have a dark spot in the center of the bite. Bed bug bites may appear on the face, neck or hands. Again, if you see blood spots on a sheet of a bed, it’s often an indication of bedbugs being there. If you think you’ve been bitten by bedbugs, you should check your bed and other furniture for signs of bedbugs, bedbugs or small, flattened brown in color and they are about the size of an apple seed. Bed bugs can also be found in their eggs and faces. Now how to treat bedbug bites. Most bedbug bites can be treated at home with over the counter medications. Here are some tips. Wash the bites with soap and water. Apply a cold compress to the bites. Take an over the counter and a histamine such as Benadryl to reduce itching. Apply calamine lotion, or how to crow how to crowded. I’m having trouble with that how to chromosome cream to the bites. If you have a severe allergic reaction to the bedbug bites, you may need to see a doctor for prescription medication. How to Prevent bedbug bites. Here are a few things that you can do to prevent bedbug bites. Inspect your hotel room or vacation rental for signs of bedbugs before you unpack and of course if you find some you probably won’t go somewhere else. Avoid bringing in US furniture in your home. wash your clothes and braiding and bedding and hot water at least 122 degrees Fahrenheit and dry them on high heat. Now we’ll make a note that most dryers on high heat get up to 125 degrees. Use a mattress cover quit prevent bed bugs from getting on your mattress. Back home regularly and pay attention to areas where bedbugs are likely to hide, such as under beds and behind the furniture. If you find bedbugs in your home, you should always contact a pest control professional to get rid of them. We’ll make a note here that we do bedbug work. And about half the bedbug work we get is where somebody’s either treated just a room or they tried to treat it themselves. Or they tried to chemical only treatment and made the bedbugs worse.
